How to Control Acne
Should you ever get acne you will no doubt want to be free of it as soon as possible, right? The good news is that acne can be cured in a number of ways. The slight catch to getting rid of your acne is to keep using the treatment you have been told to use to get rid of it. Should you stop using the acne treatment methods and use them now and again you will probably struggle to get rid of your acne for ever.
The first method of getting rid of acne is to make sure you clean/wash your skin twice a day. This should follow the pattern of once in the morning and once at night. If you are a fit person and like to exercise daily then make sure you wash your face straight after exercise. You might be wandering what type of soap to use to wash your face. Research has found that using a strong soap usually causes more harm than good, and a mild type of soap is just right to help your skin. Washing your hair daily is great for keeping any oily, greasy dirt off of your face and getting onto your skin, so that is a must.
The next thing you can do to stop acne is to make sure that you never squeeze your spots. Should you ever pop a spot then the area around the spot could get infected by you spreading the puss around. If you pick a spot then there is a possibility that the healing process could stop completely and also the acne could get worse and once it clears up, you could be left with some severe scars.
Should you be in a desperate need to pop a spot then do it with your fingers. You can get a needle and apply some alcohol to it to clean it. Then stand in front of a mirror and slightly touch the spot with the needle until it pops and some puss runs out. Take a tissue and wipe the puss from the area. This will mean that when you pop the spot your hands aren’t touching your face and you can stop any sort of infection occurring.
